Food For Fines!

The Atlantic School of Theology Library, along with Novanet libraries all across Nova Scotia, are once again holding their popular annual Food For Fines drive.

From February 4th to 15th, anyone owing book fines at these libraries may donate food items for the Metro food bank "Feed Nova Scotia" in lieu of paying their fines. For every non-perishable food item donated, participating libraries will reduce fines by $2, to a maximum of $20. Cash paid for fines during this period will also be donated to the food bank.

Simply bring your food or cash donations to the Circulation Desk at any of the participating libraries. Not sure what food to bring? Visit Feed Nova Scotia's current list of highest priority donation items.

Food For Fines is an initiative of the following Novanet libraries: Atlantic School of Theology, Cape Breton University, Dalhousie University, St. Francis Xavier University, Saint Mary’s University, Mount St. Vincent University, Nova Scotia Agricultural College, the Nova Scotia Community Colleges, NSCAD University, and University of King’s College.
