Nicholson Lectures, St. Columba Chapel (April 27, 28, and 29)

It's Nicholson Lecture time at the Atlantic School of Theology's St. Columba Chapel (April 27, 28, and 29, 2010 at 7:30 p.m). Our 2010 guest lecturer is Rev. Dr. Thomas G. Long from the Candler School of Theology, Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia.

Dr Long's lecture series, scheduled over three evenings,  is titled Beyond a Ministry of Presence: Preaching and Innocent Suffering:
  • Tuesday, April 27, 7:30 p.m. My God, Why Have You Forsaken Me? The Challenge of Innocent Suffering
  • Wednesday, April 28, 7:30 p.m. O Lord, Do Not Be Far Away: Thinking Faithfully about Innocent Suffering
  • Thursday, April 29, 7:30 p.m. In the Midst of the Congregation I Will Praise You: Speaking the Gospel in the Light of Innocent Suffering
Lectures are free and open to the public. All are welcome.
