Writing Workshops at the AST Library!

Two writing workshops, presented by Brian Hotson from the SMU Writing Centre, will be offered at the AST Library on January 24 and February 14.

Thesis Statements and Writing your Introduction
Monday, January 24 1-3 p.m.
King's Room, AST Library


This workshop is designed to provide direction on how to write an effective introduction and thesis statement. Please bring along an essay assignment to the session, as this will help guide the discussion.


How to Write a Persuasive Essay
Monday, February 14 1-3 p.m.
King's Room, AST Library


This workshop is designed to provide direction on how to write a persuasive essay and convince your reader to agree with your point of view. Please bring along an essay assignment to the session, as this will help guide the discussion.
