Cathy Busby presents We Are Sorry: an artist talk and DVD presentation

Nova Scotia artist, Cathy Busby, will talk about her installation We Are Sorry, originally presented in Winnipeg and Melbourne, and will show a DVD about that work. Cathy was invited by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission to create the installation. We Are Sorry (Winnipeg Art Gallery, 2010) is an installation made up of two panels with excerpts from the 2008 landmark apologies to Aboriginal peoples by Prime Ministers Stephen Harper (Canada) and Kevin Rudd (Australia), along with two prints of their mouths at the time of these apologies. Please visit Cathy Busby's website for more information.

Join Cathy Busby and the Arts and Theology Committee on Wednesday, November 30 at 6:30 p.m. in the AST Library for this provoking presentation. Light refreshments will be served.
