WorldCat Local launched at the Library
The Library has a new interface for searching Novanet. It is called WorldCat Local.

WorldCat Local searches Novanet and libraries worldwide in a single search. AST's materials will always display first, making our materials easier to find. It also allows you to request materials from other libraries by Novanet Express and Interlibrary Loans.
You can still search Novanet using the old interface, but we think you will like this new improved service more.
WorldCat Local also searches for journal articles in such databases as JSTOR, ArticleFirst, British Library Serials, ERIC, and Medline. You can find more theologically oriented databases in our list of research databases.
For more information, see our website at www.astheology.ns.ca/library/ or pick up a brochure at our Library Services Desk.

Novanet is slowwwwww.... Fixed!
Novanet (our online catalogue) was experiencing technical difficulties which was also affecting our off campus and wireless access to AST's research databases. These problems have been resolved.
If you have problems accessing our database or online catalogue, please contact the Library.
Cheers,
Keith

Library system problems
Our online catalogue (Novanet) is working.... mostly. We hope to have it completely fixed by the end of the day. It is currently running on some backup files, so the data is over a month old. This means that a book might show up as signed out but is actually on the shelf, and vice versa.
This also means that our off campus and wireless access to our databases is also having problems because they use the same username/password base. If your username or password is not working, please contact Ian at 902-423-0111 or Keith afterhours at 902-499-1540, or email knoseworthy@astheology.ns.ca .
In addition to Novanet, the Interlibrary Loans form is inaccessible today. For any requests, contact Ian at ifraser@astheology.ns.ca.
Again, we apologize for the inconvenience and hope to have it fix as soon as possible.

Problems with our online catalogue (Novanet)
We are having some problems with our online catalogue (Novanet). This problem will be affecting all Keyword/Find searches. It does not seem to be affecting browse searches.
Novanet is aware of the problem and hopes to have it fixed soon.
